Rules of the arena
Bidding
- Your total bid is your rank. New spots start at $5, whole dollars only.
- Taking the throne costs the current #1 price plus one dollar or more.
- Raising an existing bid: enter the same link with a higher total — you only pay the difference.
- All payments are final. There are no refunds, including when you are outbid.
Decay
- Every rank loses 10% of its effective value per day, continuously.
- Defending (topping up to any higher total) resets your decay clock.
- Ranks are always ordered by effective value, not by what you originally paid.
Dethronements
- When #1 changes hands, a public fight card is created naming the winner and the loser. By bidding, you accept that losing the throne is public.
- The dethroned get a revenge link. Use it.
Content
- Links must be safe for a general audience. No illegal content, adult content, malware, phishing, hate, or scams.
- We can remove any entry that breaks these rules at any time, without refund. We are the arena, not your lawyer.
Honesty
- This is a paid attention leaderboard, not an endorsement. A high rank means someone paid for it — nothing more.
- Link and handle ownership is unverified. Anyone can bid on any public URL or @handle. If someone lists your brand without permission, email subscriptions@creativeflakes.com for a fast takedown.
- We do not guarantee traffic, clicks, or virality. We show real click counts.
